PTZ (Pan, tilt, zoom) cameras are equipped with several motors that enable the user to not only zoom in or out on a subject but also to reposition the camera to obtain the best view remotely. These cameras are also known as dome cameras because of the housing that they typically come in. The PTZ can be programmed to do tours and preset patterns.
